I love doing advertising that gets sued. I love doing advertising that should get sued but doesn’t: Because you are telling the uncomfortable truth and not just pissing on your competitor’s tree for the heck of it.
On this project we could, and happily did, take on the untruth about Dove Not-So-Deep Moisture Body Wash.
So, here's a SERIES OF DIGITAL FILMS we created and released over a period of time on Olay’s Facebook page that linked to themoisturerising.com on olay.com. On hindsight, which is always an awesome thing, I like to think of this body of work (pardon the semi pun) as a 3-act play or a 3-season TV series as we gleefully took to a game of Dove eye-poking from three different angles.
ACT I of the DIGITAL FILMS: The moisturizers in Olay Body Wash stay on your skin while Dove Not-So-Deep Body Wash’s go down the drain.

ACT II of the DIGITAL FILMS: Even loofah’s know Olay Body Wash is better than Dove Not-So-Deep Body Wash. Tsk, Tsk!

ACT III of the DIGITAL FILMS: Even more telling confessions from the showers and bathtubs across the country. The eye-poking game gets better and better.
