NETFLIX TUDUM

“None of us would survive the pandemic if it weren’t for Netflix”, said an anonymous fan, echoing millions of us around the globe.

So, post pandemic, on September 25, 2021, Netflix released Tudum — An ode to fans. A first-ever Netflix Global Fan Event featuring it’s biggest stars and creators from around the world, on a virtual stage, for an exciting day full of exclusives and first looks.

The goal — To entertain and honor Netflix fans from across the globe with over 70 films and series featured throughout the 3-hour event; including some of Netflix’s most popular returning seasons like Stranger Things, Bridgerton and The Witcher, La Casa De Papel and Cobra Kai, as well as blockbuster films like Red Notice, Don’t Look Up, Extraction, The Harder They Fall, The Old Guard, and more.

The name — Tudum. The magical echo that cues you up to sink in your couch and Netflix happily ever after. You know it when you hear it, you just rarely see it spelled out.

The result — Over 25 million views and 3.3 billion impressions across 184 countries, in 3 hours.

My role One of the writers who rolled up their sleeves, day and night, week after week, turning on a dime, managing a million Gdocs, throwing words pretending to be celeb comedians, showmen, movers, shakers, razzlers and dazzlers; writing in different tones, voices, lengths and genres; for a hundred skits, speeches, scripts, et cetera that made up this ginormous NETFLIX TUDUM GLOBAL FAN EVENT.

It’s 3-hour plus. I don’t expect to you to watch it. Unless you’re a superfan. In which case, you may have already seen it. To be honest, I’m still catching up.
